Hello All I am trying to launch a web service from the JBOSS-NET as bundled in Jboss 3.0.0 with Tomcat 4.0.3
I understand this is an older version of AXIS it works with. I did download an older version of AXIS And have configured jboss-net.sar file under default/deploy directory to work with the Embedded Catalina container. Now I am in a stage where the deployed services of AXIS,, and Embedded Catalina SX services are all Visible from the 8082 port as services. However when I try to run http://localhost:8080/axis/AxisServlet Then it complains saying that "Apache Tomcat/4.0.3 - HTTP Status 500 - No Context configured to process this request" For a typical web application we have servlet-mapping tag in web.xml. Am I missing something here. Do I still need to package AXIS as a war file in addition to the .SAR file as above.? Any pointers to above would help. Any success from people having configured Jboss-net web service Will be helpful. Especialy on this combination jboss 3.0.0 with tomcat 4.0.3 Or what is the stable version (the same combination jboss+ tomcat) which will relieve of the pain of the All the roundabouts of older version of AXIS etc. I am really stuck ..and would appreciate a quick response..
