It turns out that only the online docs have section 2.5.3. The docs that are
distributed with JBoss Portal source project don't have this section.

You may want to update the JBoss Portal 2.2 User Guide pdf document. The
things referenced in the message above that are in the html version are not in
the pdf document. I would have saved a lot of time if I knew this.

No error message. It finishes the install without any errors. But the
'all' directory only contains log and tmp folder. Nothing else.
I am installing it on Windows XP SP2 by just double clicking on the jar install
file.

Can someone please post a listing of the console output that you would see when
you launch the JBoss AS with only the jboss-portal.sar properly configured in
the deploy directory. There are so many messages that I don't know what is
expected and what might be incorrect in my installation.
After downloading this JBoss AS version and attempting to install, it doesn't
appear that the 'all' install option works.
