Yeah I can't find anything on it. I backed down from head to the 4.0.4RC1 and
I'm still getting the exact same error.
What info do you need to see more. If I strip out all my my other beans I still
get it with my base 2 beans (User and UserAction)

Both seam and jboss off today's head. I beleive everything was deploying
beforeany thoughts from the console dump?

I'm getting an error returned back to me on my login page while utilizing
Roles, I'm guessing it's something in how I am using it, but I did not see any
examples from the web side so I made some assumptions.
My login.xhtml page

Sorry the error that I receive is

I'm working with the JBOSS-HEAD and Seam head. I need to included the seam jar
files into the server to get everything to deploy correctly. If I put them in
the \server\default\lib directory then everything works, but I want to package
them into my ear. The problem is when I do this jboss
So I would need a seperate bean to provide access to the entity bean?
Also I think part of my problem is the whole Scope and Stateful/Stateless isn't
really gel'd in my mind. Can someone point me in the direction of a page that
explains it well?

eh...I just looked into the roles yeah that is a much better fit.
Guess I'm going to learn how hard it is to build jboss outta the CVS. I will
acutally be out of touch with all of this till Monday.
Should I wait, or what is the ETA for the RC of 4.0.4? Will it work with the
CVS ver of seam?
Are Roles implemented in the nightly? I am running jboss-seam-CVS20060123 and
it doesn't appear to be there...

Thanks guys I was able to make some forward progress based on your suggestions.
Turns out I was looking at examples from the CVS and using the beta1 code (so I
could use 4.0.3SP1). Seems (no pun intended) that it's a rather confusing time
right now to start with beta2 about to go out, but only

Jboss. Everything was TomCat with createing and closing connections and all by
hand. Oh how things have improved.
Anyway I'm making really good progress on the learning curve here. But I have a

Despite the inital outta my element feeling, making these themes seems extremely easy,
now I just need to get a handle on how to deploy this into my server.
I have a folder called tutorial

I know this has been asked many times before, but I just recently brought up an RC3 on
jboss, and I'm trying to customize it into a website.
Now I'm pretty new to JBoss and it's innerworkings so any help and examples would be
apperciated.
