If the underlying data in the database is changed outside the scope of the container (and the entity bean(s) associated with the data) - can the container deal with this occuring? How will the instance pool deal with this situation?
I am currently working on an application framework where the database is accessed from multiple legacy applications - which, in turn, can modify the data. Thanks for any input and comments ...
