JBoss Inc. is looking for two Java Experts to join the Services Team EMEA

JBoss vision for delivering Professional Open Source to the enterprise is 
dependent on our ability to deliver services profitably and with a high degree 
of customer satisfaction.

We do support differently from other companies. There is no junior flunky to 
annoy the customer. Our support team consists of Java Architects who do remote 
consulting for customer contacts that are typically the top developers in their 
respective organizations. A large majority of support is accomplished through a 
web portal, although the phone, IM and WebEx are also utilized.

Our Java Experts also prepare sample code and write technical tutorials. 
Therefore, excellent Java coding skills are required. In addition to writing 
original code, the position requires the ability to read and understand JBoss 
middleware code. You should be able to fix bugs and submit features to the 
JBoss code base if time and interest allow.

Required Skills and Experience
 - 5+ years of professional work experience
 - 3+ years Java/J2EE experience
 - In-depth knowledge of the J2EE platform
 - In-depth knowledge of at least one enterprise Application Server (preferably 
JBoss, but WebLogic and WebSphere experience will also be considered)
 - Proven ability and willingness to learn new open source middleware 
technologies.
 - Strong customer service skills
 - Demonstrated efficient problem solving techniques.
 - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Preferred Skills and Experience
 - Developed applications using JBoss technologies
 - Knowledge of Hibernate and Tomcat
 - Ability to deal with change and limited structure
 - Must be highly motivated, self-sufficient, perceptive, ambitious, flexible 
and high energy


Location
Those two particular positions will be based in Switzerland. We'll also 
consider candidates working from their current location.
