As I read in

it is not recommended to use the hypersonic default JMS persistance.

As we've just discovered this due to some JMS exceptions, we have already an 
application in production.
2 questions:

1. What are the consequences in regards to the load of messages. In other 
words, is it possible exceptions arises because of several hundreds messages or 
can it hold under more pressure? (If so, then what does it mean to use it only 
for demos and tests?)

2. Is is possible to configure only specific destinations (queues/topics) to 
persist on Oracle or is the configuration change from hypersonic is global to 
all JMS destinations? (we need this since we are using a third party that is 
dependent on hypersonic).
