Why is Xalan included in JBoss 3.2.6 distribution? The jars xml-apis.jar, xercesImpl.jar and xalan.jar are included in the directories jboss/lib and jboss/server/default/lib, respectively. They are also included in the JRE distribution. This would be reasonable if some startup config file states that the jre should use those directories as endorsed library directories, but I can't find any such configuration.
What JBoss modules use these libraries? Which ones are actually loaded, those of JBoss or those of the JRE? The reason I ask is that I need to update these jar files, and I would like which ones I need to replace in order to make things work. I posted a similar question in the beginner's corner, but I feel that it is more accurate to ask this in this forum instead. Please correct me if I have broken any of the posting rules!
