Thank you for your response Mike. I cannot use RC in my setup, because we are
near to release, but at least I can check it for details of configuration (I
hope it was not changed totally).

You may want to download 4.0.1RC2 because I noticed in the change log that a
derby datasource has been added to the distibution and it may help. I can't be
sure though as I've never used Derby.
