>From my experience JRockit is by far the fastest, being up to twice as fast as Sun. Unfortunately it also seems to be the least reliable. The current version does not handle files larger than 4 GB properly, and after upgrading to Red Hat 9 I can't even get it to start... Support is another issue, unless A) you happen to be using one of their certified platforms/distributions and B) you have a support contract.
