I have the same thing happening running with mysql.. the mysql logs
indicated that it TO's the connection on JBoss.
Could this be happening with you?

Another possibiity is that the db connections time out in some way. For
instance, it appears that due to some kind of bug, interbase/interclient 2
on Linux connections break after a while, at least if they aren't being
used (such as overnight, with no usage). If this is the problem, I belie
