I simply launched the installer and then, at the end of the setup, i started
jabberd with the -D flag. Everything works fine.I can log in and log out
anytime from multiple users and restart the server if needed without any
problem.
I have a standard Win2k Professional edition without any service

The installer includes the cygwin.dll I believe. Also, this is why it's
damn hard to debug this problem. It works fine for many, and not so

contact list (it's long!)
