Even on a PIV/2800 with 1GB RAM it takes about 200-300 msec to launch the
gnupg.exe and process its result. Such a delay itself is a mess for a user
who can type quickly.

Status message describes the status, not a location. I don't wanna change
all status messages if I move from one location to another. Also I don't

I would say that publishing the current song is a perversion :) but the
current geographic location - no.

You won't be notified anyway. And cause the polliing suxx, I'm trying
re information than the simple status change. Of course, I
don't want to display the currently playing song in Winamp there :) maybe
that's why people don't want to implement this feature.

Hi.
Is it possible to get a notification from the server when someone in my
roster changes his nickname? Without polling the roster, of course, smth
like NLN command resending in the MSN protocol...

Ok, I can easily implement the multi-send support as a sequence of single
transfers, no problems. It would be ugly & slow, but much better than
nothing :)

It's not so important for this task, I just chech a "type" attr to be an
"error" or a "result". But still any ideas how to do that on

Hi.
I wanna test that a certain JID is valid on a jabber server. How can I
ensure that without trying to add him into the roster? Right now I couldn't
find anything better than fetching a vcard - if an error occurs, then this
JID is invalid.
