I hope this is on topic and if not I apologize but I have Windows 98, a pentium 2, 208MB of free C drive space, a 56K modem, and 184MB of ram. I was wondering if this is enough system requirements to run or create a Jabber server.

Jabber is currently available for linux a windows version is under
construction though.
the config you have mentioned should certainly be able to support linux
if the modem and vga is compatible.
