How that interacts with the roster may depend on your client (not sure
if I understand your question). But yes, you can tie privacy list rules
to roster groups

I'd love to stick to the basics, but blocking is a base part of an IM system
and I have to implement it. Microsoft's server has an idea a watcher where
you keep a list separate f
