Kim Saunders created JENKINS-13501: -------------------------------------- Summary: Invoke cov-commit-defects with --strip-path Key: JENKINS-13501 URL: https://issues.jenkins-ci.org/browse/JENKINS-13501 Project: Jenkins Issue Type: Improvement Components: coverity Reporter: Kim Saunders Assignee: Josh Vinson Priority: Minor
It would be nice if this plugin had some support for supplying a --strip-path option when it calls cov-commit-defects (I realise that this can be explicitly specified using "Additional cov-commit-defects arguments", and indeed that is what I am doing now). The sensible default would be to use --strip-path /absolute/path/to/project/workspace/, so that source files in integrity manager are displayed with a relative path from the workspace. Perhaps a checkbox, enabled by default, that uses this strip path could be provided, and if you want to use something else you can uncheck it and provide your own via "Additional cov-commit-defects arguments" ? Other than that, this plugin works well for our large Coverity deployment, so thanks for providing it! -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA.
