gorazd,
i ended up just creating new jobs from scratch and running jenkins
along side hudson to build the history up. this allowed me to cleanup
some unused jobs and stage jenkins in an operational environment for
production deployment.

i'm attempting to migrate from latest hudson to latest jenkins. after
deploying the new war file to my tomcat instance and firing it up i'm able
to login however all my jobs are missing. when i look at the logs i see
several exceptions "
