indeed it was a Jess version issue. Replacing the 7.0b3 version with the
newest one worked a charm.

I have a bit of an odd question which concerns the JESS Eclipse editor.
I had a project where all required *.clp files where in the root and I
also had several java packages. Now I decided that it might be a good
idea to put the .clp files in the corresponding packages where
