I am using Jetspeed 1.4 and have noticed that scheduled jobs tend to die
unexpectedly and without any error messages. The scheduler just logs that
the job has started, nothing else. Other jobs continue as usual. Is this a
known problem? Is there a known solution?

I am using JDK 1.4.2_01. And yes, I have upgraded to xalan 2.5.2 and xerces
2.4.0, and according to EnvironmentCheck, I am using them.
