Paul,
Sorry to hear that. I was able to fix the problem by copying the
properties file just like Vin had suggested. It could be frustrating
at times, often the answers will be somewhere here within this list. I
do appreciate the efforts put in by the developers and other members

Vin,
Thanks a lot. I copied OJB.properties to WEB-INF/classes directory.
However the result is the same. This time tomcat logs shows the

For anyone who come across this problem,
I was able to fix this problem by dowloading the required jars

Hi,
A few questions on role based PSML.
Role based PSML seems to be enabled only if the following modifications to

I just copied the xalan-2.3.1.jar that is packaged with jetspeed to
Catalina-home/common/endorsed
directory and everything seems perfectly normal. I use Tomcat 5.0.19. I
don't think you need to download a different version of Xalan unless
ofcourse your web application is using it.
Remember reading
http://portals.apache.org/jetspeed-1/faq.html
Copy the xalan.jar from Jetspeed distribution to
$CATALINA_HOME/common/endorsed directory (or JDK endorsed directory)

have a few questions regarding jetspeed. I would appreciate you effort in
getting these newbie questions cleared.
I am using tomcat4.0.4. I've installed jetspeed, modified the top, left and
bottom jsp templates. I we
