after a while I checked out jetspeed-2 from repository using eclipse and the
mevenide plugin.
everything worked fine and so I could build the jetspeed portal and deploy
it into a tomcat
instance (5.0.28). Using a browser to request the portal I got a a long
exception stack trace

but in my case everthing runs fine :
i can logon and use my own portlets - the others
are not interesting for me - at the moment.
but i get in the tomcat-cmd a stackoverflow.

I am new to jetSpeed. I am trying to use the jetspeed1.5. I got
jetspeed1.5-src.zip file from the internet and tried to compile. It does not
work form me. I used build.xml included with the project, for compiling. I
tried to use IntelliJ and tried the jar target. Does the build.xml work? It
