Hello Lorenzo,
It should work fine for your gear. We have it running for 7500, 6500

Hi Lorenzo,
Check if you have the cron configured?
Did you follow all the INSTALL guide steps?
Did you use the Debian jffnms package or the standard .tar.gz ?
Did setup.php say everything was OK?

Hi Javier,
Hi Lorenzo,
I'm glad you are considering JFFNMS.
I'm sure it will work fine.
Is this on Linux or Windows?
In any case, it seems like the poller is not running.
Do you have any files in the rrd folder?

Hi Javier, Hi list
I work in an italian regional Provider.
I'd like to migrate from the actual Hp NNM and CiscoWorks platform to
the Jffnms system management.
Our network architecture is Cisco (7200,6500 Sup 720,4006 Sup IV,

Dave,
The normal events screen is 'date filtered' to make it faster.
But if you use filters then you will be able to see all the events.
Ie: you click on a host, you will be able to see all the host events, without
the date limit.
But also, JFFNMS deletes old events as configured in setup.php.

Jason,
You can run
# cd /opt/jffnms/engine
# php -q rrd_analizer.php
# php -q consolidate.php
To speed things up, and if you enable logging/debugging in setup.php, you will
have a logs/triggers file.

Anthony,
What do you mean? Does a graph appear without data?
You get an error message?
If you upgraded from 0.7.8 then, was the patch applied cleanly ?
I can view the Cisco Temperature graphs without problem in my installation.

Hi
I've done exactly as you have listed below, and I've got jffnms setup to
send the 'pager' alert on any SLA condition, which there is one every half
hour. Its been about 2 hours and I've not gotten any mail from JFFNMS
regarding this SLA condition. Is there some log that I can check to see

Javier,
That did it, though cisco temperature does not show any output from the RRD?
Thanks,
Anthony

Hey,
I've got a small question. When coming back after
the weekend, and displaying the events, I can see only
events that occured on monday. I can't seem to display
what happened on saturday and sunday.
Is there a way to have the system keep the events
visible for a longer time ?
thanks,
Dave
Anthony,
I've noted that gd_info only appears in PHP > 4.3.0
So, I plan to put it an exception, so if gd_info does not exists use a

You could just comment the gd_info() line and put $gd_font_size = 6 bellow.

Hi Craig, hi the list,
I think my question was not well understood :o)
Take an example :

the weekly graph, the peak is not here. The values are averaged, b
