Hello again everyone:
I just enable the graphviz-neato option in my Win XP
JFFNMS 0.7.9 box, but when I Change the view to Graphviz to see interfases, I
just get an X wish I think means that the archive can`t be found in the

Is your tftp root directory the same as the one JFFNMS is configured to use?
I found I had the same problem - I configured the TFTP server to write to
one directory, & JFFNMS to look in another - so while the file got
transferred, JFFNMS couldn't find it - I'm pretty sure I got a similar
er
That seems odd.
Can you try to do a "copy running tftp" and see what happens?

Hi Paul,
That error means that the file (.dat) you have is 0 bytes long.
Check if you can do a "copy running tftp" from your Switch.

Jason,
It will happen exactly the same thing as if you have everything on the same
server and you stop MySQL.
That is the pollers won't run the GUI won't work. JFFNMS needs the DB to work.
You should still find out why you haven't got any speed increase.

Hi
We've split our JFFNMS into two boxes, the frontend poller and the backend
database (still working out the performance issues with this...seems slower
after the move)...but I was wondering, what happens to the front end poller
if the backend was to go down or lose communication to the frontend?
Thank you Javier it was exactly what I needed to do, now everything is
working as it should, I'll keep on configuring my network.

Hi
How would I go about changing the number of CPUs to 2...when I discover the
jffnms frontend, it only shows the one cpu. I've got both the frontend and
backend plugged into a cisco 2950 and from the switchport standpoint, there
are no errors or anything and both are connected at 100/full. The f
Yep both the input bandwidth and output bandwidth on all three of the
interfaces is the same, there are three interfaces a DMZ, which has a
lower bandwidth and then an internal and an external interface will
