think he wants to build a simple network topology. As far as I know, it is not
possible.
Autodiscovery can be turned off for specific interfaces (eg TCp ports)
at the Polling & Discovery -> Interface Types.

Is there a way to avoid autodiscovery from discover new interfaces that I
don't want to display/monitor?
It happened that jffnms discovered new interfaces (actually TCP ports) and I
deleted them, but after some time they were discovered again.
