Check your apache config your should be able to use symlinks.
Or change your DocumentRoot to /opt/jffnms/htdocs
The error means its not finding the lib and conf folder.

Dear Jffnms Users,
I have finally installed Apache 2.0.49 and PHP 5.0.4 on Sun JDS 1.0 with
PostgreSQL 7.4.5 backend for use with the latest version of jffnms.
For some strange reason, I cannot go across symlinks, so I copied
/opt/jffnms to /var/www/jffnms
and in my httpd.conf made and alias for
gt; Cc: jffnms-users@lists.sourceforge.net
