Hi Thomas,
You can try to setup a master interface for your hosts (port 199, or
reachability), so when the DMI is down, the polling process will stop
for this host and the event screen will report "polling failed". A
portion of code must be added to the consolidator process to not put

Are you asking to have a dependency to not check
Hi,
The alarmed interface page should not report manually shutdowned interface.
Most switches only have a small proportion of their port in use.
Having those unused port, when shutdowned, in the alarmed interface
clutter it.

Hi,
If port 199 is monitored and down, all the test needing SNMP should not
be performed.
The issue is that trying to pull SNMP data from an host where snmpd died
cause major slowdown.

It would be nice if we could select an interface per ID.

Thanks.

Hello,
My company relies heavily on device performance graphs. In fact we use Cacti in
addition to JFF for graphing purposes. We have around 300 hosts being monitored
by JFF and it can take a while to produce relevant graphs for a set of servers,
in addition to generating the SAME graphs several
This is already partially implemented, but I think JFF as a
whole needs to expand its concept of RSS. As of now you can get rss feeds for
events, but I think what would make this absolutely awesome, and something that
no other nms has would be the ability to set up filters, and different rs
