I thought we actually do this check on startup -- in `ProcessorStateManager#initializeStoreOffsetsFromCheckpoint` we throw a TaskCorruptedException if the state dir is non-empty but some offsets are missing from the checkpoint file ---------------------------------------------------------------- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
