Usually a PC can handle quite a big number of threads without problems but think about some other effects that might result in wrong measurements of server response times: A good idea is to monitor the workload of your CPU. If it is around 100% it might be to much meaning your CPU is overloaded

new soap sampler

I've committed a new Soap/XML-RPC (over HTTP) sampler to CVS. Having no soap servers to test against, I have no idea how it works. However, the basic code is there. The GUI is simplistic. Anyone interested can develop it further if they desire. I'd be glad to accept any patches for it.
