authentication. any one aware of using MD5 authentication.

Depends what you mean by Response Time.
Elapsed Time is how long it takes for the request to be completed.
Latency is how long from the initial request to the first response (this is
not supported by all samplers).

Seu arquivo jtl esta danificado.
1 vocĂȘ fechou o jmeter antes de acabar o test
2 vocĂȘ esta executando o jmeter remoto e pegou o arquivo antes dele ser
finalizado
3 seu jmeter nao conseguiu acabar o arquivo.
Para arruamar este erro basta arrumar a tag(xm

I have tried to use SimpleDataWriter Listener to write the data to file.
In the configuration for the SimpleDataWriter , I couldn't find the "response
time" property. Is it same as the property "Elapsed Time'
I am using Jmeter 2.3 RC4.
Please clarify.

Thanks for you info. I just wonder how to use an xmltag as ar variable name.
For the varaible name i've entered the xmtag where the info i need is
described, like . Is this correct or is something wrong? Because
this tag also has a closing tag,like , how do i use this

your problem is nothing to do with JMeter - try accessing the URL in a
browser and you'll see the same response.
Some other process on your machine is listening on port 80.
If you're on Linux "netstat -anp | grep 80" should tell you what the
offending process is
