That's done it!
Going by your first suggestion, I've edited the JMX and entered a line feed
character directly as a value as follows:
lf
=
Works a treat.
It's worth noting that if I attempt to edit this value now from the GUI, it
gets changed back to a whitespace character. But

Hi,
I'm trying to test a socket based server and I'm having a weird behaviour with
the TCP Sampler.
1-How can you know you get errors or timeout?
Even if I have timeouts the "Aggregate Report" always says 0% error.
The only way I can see if i did not get replies id to use the "Save Reponses
Hi All,
Finally I found the problem.
I simply turn off iptables on Linux box (Jmeter-Server-slave) and all work.
Here I'm trying to explain - what I found:
I used "iptables" on my Linux box (Server-slave) with the line:

Thanks a lot. That was the solution that worked very well.

If this URL gets a 404 response in JMeter, then it should also get the same
using a browser. You say you get a blank page when using the browser - is it
completely blank or is a standard browser error. If you do not get an error
page returned in the browser, its strange behaviour.

Hi,
Thanks for a quick response.
Basically, the url (if I type it manually on the browser), returns empty
page. The url format is the following:
http://localhost:8443/opath/blueprintAccess/commission(id,parameters)?id
={"oid":{"type":"com.enigmatec.ems.server.dtoImpl.BlueprintImpl","key":0

Hi,
HTTP GET should return a response - can you provide a bit more detail on what
you are trying to do?

Hello,
In my Test Plan, I have got the GET HTTP request, which is not supposed
to return any response.
However, when I run the test, the Sampler Result returns error as it
looks for a response, but receives the 404.

Hello,
I would like to assign the value of a line feed character (ASCII 10) to a
user defined variable.
So far my attempt to paste the character into JMeter is only producing a
whitespace character. The usual ALT-010 hotkey isn't working for me either
(this produces nothing).
Does anyone have a
Hi,
Thanks for your answer.
I removed the XML processing instruction ().
But at this time I had the following error on the application server
webservice handler.
So how can I define the text XML data as a string data for the
q0:startProcessRequestXML element.
