A load tester at work said that they did not trust JMeter reports. I
read something like this before. Is there any basis to this? My
argument is that I could 'trust' an open-source tool more than one
where I could not read the source code.

I do not understand how you are able to send multiple actions in single
request..
does your application have some client side processing?..

How can set up JMeter to print any exceptions thrown while running a Junit
test.
I can see debug and info statements but can't see error statements.
