Hi ,
I record some scripts through badbody .This is against a dev URL on a
machine within my LAN wherein I don't have to go through proxy.
Now when I record and playback through BAdboy I receive response times for
each of the links that I hit
I then export the same to Jmeter and then run the test
Hi ,
Just had a quick clarification.
Is the throughput value that is displayed in Jmeter the server side
throughput or the client side throughput ?
I noticed a very unusual case.
When I load test a server by running Jmeter on one box then there is a
value of throughput X.
Now when I simulate the

"the throughput" of the server
i.e no of Shopping transactions that the server can process/sec then would
the value that Jmeter displays in the aggreg
I was just quoting some values as examples. I don't think the functionality
of the Constant Throughput timer would change based on the ramp up time
.Pls let me know how the constant throughput timer is supposed to work .

Hi Oliver ,
I was wondering if it could be specific to Jmeter 2.2 (not sure though)
Maybe I am missing something else here .I used Jmeter 2.1 on the same box
and was able to go about 200 threads ( No of threads =200 , Ramp up period
=5 secs)
In this case I am sure that 200 threads don't accumal

The IIS server that I am hitting is on WIn2003 server box .
Even with the current setting i.e 22 threads/sec for a 10mn duration tha
max no of threads that could exist at the 10th minute is 220 which would
never be the
did that Glen , But didn't solve my problem .Nothing logged that would help
me find the root cause .
