I'll bet that the download didn't actually work. Our web server was
setting the mime type of .dmg files to plain text.Other people
were having problems with the download too.
Try this instead:

Just for kicks I tried installing your Mac OS X package ... but
unfortunately didn't get very far.
Downloaded fine, mounts fine ...
when I launch the Jmol3.pkg, the menu changes, but no dialog box appears
on the screen.
It is an older Beige Mac G3 running 10.1.5.
