10.3.9 update was released today. I am reading about problems with Java. What are others observing -- before I take the plunge?

By the way, the next time I tried it, it worked fine from the hard drive,
and I can't reproduce the problem now. So from this I conclude that it was
some sort of fluke problem. Ignore.

Yes, I think so. The CD was sent to the press two/three weeks ago, and
