Your problem is quite strange, but first we must be sure that we are talking 
the same 
language, so to speak.

1. You do not "install" Jmol, just unzip the contents of the downloaded file. 
Then, there are 2 
separate components in Jmol: the application and the applet. So it's important 
to know which 
one you are testing.
