That is pretty much what I did last night, i used load ./methane.sdf but now I
have to modify the paths for all of the jpg's that I modified. The other
solution I had in mind was creating a NodeJS server to serve me those files,
and redirect all the requests

Check the warning message from
just slip them in there. Which applet JAR file are you using? If
JmolApplet.jar, just that; if JmolAppletSigned.jar, just that; if one with
"0" at the end, then all of that type, signed or unsigned.

Jmol can indeed be used offline. Only a handful of features require online
connection (yours is an example).

an internet connection isn't always available.
Is there any way to work offline? Cache the file or change the url to a local
