The dowry becomes evil when the marriage decision has a lot to do with the
dowry (or even anything to do with dowry). It is also evil when the parents
or brothers or other family members are forced to raise money
Dear Friends,
I like to putforth my view on this dowry debate as it turned towards share
being received by a girl. Let me put some questions which are coming into my
mind right now.
1) If it is the share which needs to be divided equally among all the
children, isn't a girl relying on her parent
