The Rex Band 'youth encounter programme' ended yesterday... The programme went
off very well ! Thank you very much for your prayers... Towards the end of
the programme we launched "Friends of Rex Band".Here's what it is all about:-
FRIENDS OF REX
BAND
WHAT IT IS:
This is no fan-club. This is an extension of the Rex Band family;
a part of the big family of Jesus Youth; a fellowship of lovers of music who
are primarily lovers of the Lord. They are helped by and extend help to the
Rex Band.
WHAT WE OFFER:
An invitation to grow together in the love of God.
Fellowship gatherings with the Rex Band once a month.
An E-mail fellowship to exchange views and news.
A commitment by Rex Band members to pray for all their "Friends".
Details of upcoming Rex Band programmes and retreats.
Personal visits by members of the Rex Band or deputed Jesus Youth
leaders to those who need special help.
An exposure to such events as recordings of their albums.
WHAT WE EXPECT:
Do pray for the Rex Band, both for it's members and for their
ministry.
Help in mobilising youth for the monthly retreats.
Volunteer your services during the retreats and shows.
