1. you're using an old version of jQuery (1.2.3). The currently released is 1.2.6, 1.3 almost ready to go 2. you're loading jQuery at the end of the tag, so there's no point in using $(document).ready() 3. I'm not getting the error you mentioned on Internet Explorer 4. this question is better
