I think it was both--started out w/ 1.3 and fell back on 1.2.6, same thing.
I hacked a fix for myself by modifying the source but the edits weren't
consistent enough to warrant submitting a patch or anything as it was a bit
of trial and error until I found out what was happening. To reproduce it,
