[jQuery] How do I use BlockUI with Jquery?

I know this may sound extremely dumb, but how do I actually use
BlockUI??  I've got jquery working perfectly, but how do I access
BlockUI's methods etc?  I must make a reference to it somewhere?
There is nothing in the documentation.
