[jQuery] [validate] assigning numeric values in dynamic forms

I'm not even sure if that title is correct, but I was looking at this demo for dynamic totals: http://jquery.bassistance.de/validate/demo/dynamic-totals.html and was wondering if there was some way to assign specific values to certain menu items. For example, if I chose Learning jQuery as an
