[jQuery] [Validation] Internationalization support

Does the JQuery Validation plugin supports internationalization? Here
in Italy for example we write 1,5 instead of 1.5 and 1.500,5 instead
of 1,500.5 and the dates are in another format (dd/MM/yyyy)...
