I'm using another jQuery plugin (jquery.textCounting.js) to display a character limit for each field based on its maxlength field. I don't want jquery.validate.js to validate the maxlength for any field in my form, but I do want it to perform all its other functions. Any idea how to do this?
Right now Validation is preventing submission when a field violates its maxlength, which is undesirable behavior for this form. Thanks,
