[jQuery] Autocomplete - is bgiframe required?

I'm getting a javascript error in Firefox (list.bgiframe is not a
function) with the autocomplete plugin if I don't include bgiframe,
but the documentation seems to imply that bgiframe is optional.

Is bgiframe required?
