Unfortunately with that script (I think Methvin's?) it only takes the
background color from the parent element when making the corners. The
other solution out there (curvy corners) is extremely slow. I haven't
personally found an ideal solution where the background needs to be an
image or gradie
I ran into a similar issue with how the plugin decided what background
to use (i was actually using the modified version found at
http://www.malsup.com/jquery/corner/).
If you read Mike's documentation (see "Pick Your Colors (or keep your
borders)"), you'll see that you can specify the color that
I had problems with exactly what you were talking about when I first
used that plug-in...the next time I needed rounded corners I tried
this plug-in and was much more pleasantly surprised with it.
