Not as a whole, but what are the specific limitations you're trying to
overcome?
Funny up until yesterday I hadn't heard of Dean Edwards IE7 and now I
see a second instance of it.
Did it pop up somewhere on Digg or something?

the only reason you might want to do this is to save a couple of kb of
having a plugin to do the work instead of a seperate library
