I have this same problem but only with IE 6 and not IE 7. I'd love to
hear about how this could be fixed.

The unit that has IE7 in a XP was reset by the sysad, I think just the
Windows XP, and I tried again, the positioning problem is gone, so
maybe it's just some configuration issue with IE7.

Here is my test:
Windows Vista IE 7.0.600.16546(update versions:0) : ok
Windows Vista IE 7.0.600.16386(update versions:0) : ok;
Windows XP IE 7.0.5730.11(update verions:0) : wrong position
I'll try to look into this and keep you updated, also, if you find a
fix, please let me know,

I encountered exactly the same problem today, it's an IE 7 in a
Windows XP, and I tried some IE7 in Windows Vista, all works great. I
was thinking maybe the IE7 in the XP has some problem, now your
posting confirms this problem, have you tried it in a Windows Vista?
