[jQuery] Using $.ajax to post XML to an aspx page

I'm new to using JQuery and I've been searching everywhere to be able
to post XML to a WebMethod on an aspx page in a site.  I'm sure it can
be done but I just have no idea how.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
