i would like to know if there is a way to have jquery tell you what is the DOM 
path to an element. For example: 
 
$(this).click(function(){
alert($(this).getPath();
});
 
 
which would output
 
html > body > div.col > ul.menu > li > a.selected
 
 
 
??
