May I propose to make the list of discussion topics longer? Currently we just see 30 of 3,300 topics, and it only goes back about 3 or 4 days.
If the list were longer, much longer, users could search with Ctrl+F in a rather larger pool of potential subjects. 30-items is probably fine for users accessing jQuery-UI with dial-up connections.
